Anna Panzió – About Us

Anna Panzió is nestled among rolling hills and pine forests, on the edge of the peaceful village of Borzont, in the heart of Transylvania. The beauty and tranquility of the surroundings create the perfect setting for rest and relaxation — made even more special by our genuine, heartfelt hospitality. Our guesthouse is also an ideal venue for weddings, team-building retreats, and larger events.

But why is the guesthouse called Anna?

The name was chosen in 2008 in honor of the host’s mother. Anna means grace, kindness, and charm — values that reflect both the spirit of our home and the warm, welcoming atmosphere we offer our guests.

At any time of the year, you can choose from a wide range of experiences. In summer, explore the pine forests and mountain landscapes on foot or on four wheels. During the colder months, warm up in our traditional Transylvanian wellness area and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the mountains.

Accommodation

When designing our rooms, our goal was to create a cozy and homely atmosphere for our guests. The rooms are fully equipped with modern amenities, feature contemporary furnishings, and each has a private bathroom.

The dense pine forests, the beauty of nature, and our restaurant together create the perfect setting to celebrate the important moments of your life. Whether it’s a wedding, a family celebration, or a team-building event, you can count on us.

Wellness

After a long day, you can refresh yourself in our wellness area. On hot summer days, cool off in our cold plunge pool, while on chilly winter evenings you can warm up in our sauna or in our traditional Transylvanian jacuzzi. And to warm up even more, enjoy a shot of pálinka alongside.

Activities

With our active program offerings, you can explore the enchanting landscapes of the Gheorgheni (Gyergyó) region on foot, on four wheels, or even by snowmobile. After returning tired but fulfilled from your adventure, you can relax in our authentic Transylvanian wellness area. We also recommend a shot of traditional pálinka to warm your soul as well.
